Letter From Dr. Barnard DDS
Dear Patients and Friends,
Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed quality time with your friends and family.
As some of you may be aware, I have been contemplating slowing my active practice to spend more time with my family. One of the primary concerns in this process has been finding the right individual with my values to continue your dental care in our office.
Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to meet and discuss my situation with Dr. Will Grella. Will and I have the same philosophy of patient care and dentistry. I’ve seen his excellent work and spoken with his praising mentors; he’s conscientious and dedicated to staying up-to-date with what has become an ever-changing field.
Dr. Grella graduated from UCLA School of Dentistry and accepted a commission in the U.S. Navy. He completed a 1-year hospital residency at Camp Pendleton and then served in Yuma, Arizona, treating the Marines that maintain and fly Harrier jets. He resigned from active duty 2 years ago to settle down with his wife in Long Beach and start a family, and he continues to serve in the U.S. Navy Reserve as a Lieutenant Commander.
Dr. Grella has personal experience in practicing all aspects of dentistry, and because of his time practicing in the area, he already has working relationships with the local specialists to whom I have referred you. The staff met Dr. Grella, and they will be continuing as our dental team. My own practice will concentrate on Fridays and select Saturdays. Dr. Grella will be in the office Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and select Saturdays. Dr. Grella will also be in network with all the insurances that we currently accept.
In short, I feel I found the perfect individual to continue to care for your needs. If you are in the area before your next scheduled appointment, I encourage you to stop by and meet Dr. Grella.
Thank you for your trust and loyalty these many years. I consider each of you a dear friend and am introducing you to caring hands.
Sincerely,
William L. Barnard, D.D.S.
